Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interim Assistant Company Secretary to join a dynamic and international organisation and leading insurance provider. This role, which is a 9 month FTC, offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of entities spanning Europe, the US and Australia, supporting the delivery of high-quality governance and company secretarial services. You will play a key role in ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining corporate records, and supporting effective board and committee operations. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help drive strong governance standards and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives across the group. Key Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage governance processes for international subsidiaries, including board and committee administration
  • Prepare agendas, coordinate papers, and produce accurate minutes for meetings
  • Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely and accurate filings across jurisdictions
  • Support corporate activities such as entity incorporations, restructures and compliance projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisers to ensure effective governance and regulatory compliance

Experience and Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification or part/full qualification in company secretarial or governance (e.g. CGI) or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a company secretarial role within a complex or international organisation
  • Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks, company law and regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting multiple jurisdictions, ideally including Europe and/or the US
  • Familiarity with board portal and entity management systems

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality, accurate documentation
  • Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Proactive and well-organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
