An established international investment management business is seeking an Interim Assistant Company Secretary to join its Company Secretariat team on an initial three-month contract. The successful candidate will play a central role in implementing a new entity management system, improving the organisation’s company secretarial records and filing structure and ensuring corporate governance documentation is complete and accurate. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Company Secretarial professional who enjoys project-based work and can operate with a high degree of autonomy. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of a new entity management system, working alongside the external software provider during setup.
- Upload and maintain corporate records within the entity management platform.
- Lead the review and reorganisation of electronic company secretarial records across approximately 70 group entities.
- Overhaul the electronic filing system for Group Committee documentation.
- Review statutory and corporate records, ensuring documentation for newly incorporated entities is complete and correctly maintained.
- Provide support on a range of ad hoc Company Secretariat and corporate governance activities as required.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using Diligent Entity Management is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of company secretarial practices, corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience managing corporate records and governance documentation across multiple legal entities.
