Senior Company Secretarial Assistant – FTSE Listed Company
£55,000 – £65,000, London (WFO 4 days per week)
Overview:
Are you a Company Secretarial Assistant looking to take the next step in your governance career within a complex international organisation?
Working as part of a collaborative Legal and Governance team and reporting to the General Counsel, you’ll play a key role in supporting governance activities across a large portfolio of UK and overseas entities. The position offers broad exposure to entity management, governance administration, board and committee support, and corporate compliance, providing an excellent platform to further develop your company secretarial expertise in a global environment.
This opportunity would suit a recently qualified governance professional or a part-qualified candidate looking to build on their existing experience and progress their career within a supportive team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of company secretarial services across UK and international entities, ensuring strong governance and compliance standards.
- Maintain statutory compliance, including Companies House filings, corporate records, subsidiary governance and liaison with external providers.
- Assist with key corporate events including the Annual Report process, AGM and shareholder meetings, supporting effective communications.
- Provide company secretarial support on corporate transactions such as acquisitions, disposals and restructures.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience within a Company Secretarial function, ideally in a listed or similarly regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK governance frameworks including the Companies Act 2006, UK Listing Rules, DTRs, UK Corporate Governance Code and MAR.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across senior stakeholders and business functions.
- CGI qualification (or working towards) desirable but not essential.
