Company Secretary (immediate interim)

This UK headquartered business within the energy sector is now seeking the immediate support of a Company Secretary (ideally Chartered) on an interim basis. In what will be a standalone role, you’ll provide a full range of support which will include Board & Committee Governance, Entity Management & Company Secretariat Administration, as well ad some wider Stakeholder Management & Governance Support duties.
The role will report to the General Counsel but is generally considered as an autonomous, standalone role with no direct reports. Therefore, you’ll need to be comfortable operating under your own steam and have the experience and knowledge to turn you hand to most areas when required. The role is currently vacant and so you’ll ideally be immediately available and be able to attend the office in Manchester on a hybrid basis (c.2-3 days a week ideally but less can be considered). Board meetings are typically held in the Manchester office but there may be the need to attend meetings held in different locations (namely London) during the course of the interim assignment.
The role can be offered on a daily rate or employed basis and support is likely to be needed until at least the end of the year, with the possibility of being extended into early 2027. A full job description is available on request. Ref:3761
