Overview
The Core Partnership is delighted to be supporting a well-known FTSE 100 organisation in their search for an Interim Deputy Company Secretary to join their high-performing team on a maternity cover contract. Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, this is a high-profile opportunity to lead the Company Secretariat function, playing a key role in supporting the governance and regulatory framework of a complex, international group.
Contract length: 10 months FTC, mid-July 2026 – mid-May 2027
The role & key responsibilities
- Lead the Company Secretariat function, ensuring compliance with all applicable listing, disclosure and corporate governance requirements for a UK-listed FTSE 100 organisation.
- Deputise for the GC/CoSec, supporting Board and Committee operations, including papers, governance advice and regulatory disclosures.
- Oversee the governance section of the Annual Report and AGM.
- Lead and develop the Company Secretariat team.
Experience & qualifications
- Fully qualified Chartered Company Secretary, with significant experience within UK-listed PLC environments.
- Proven track record of working effectively with Boards and senior executives.
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong drafting skills, with experience in share schemes and listed company reporting.
