We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Deputy Company Secretary to play a key role in supporting the delivery of an effective corporate governance framework within a regulated financial services organisation. Working closely with the Company Secretary, you will provide expert governance advice to the Board, Board Committees, and senior leadership team, helping to ensure the organisation meets its statutory, regulatory, and governance obligations.
This is a varied and high-profile role that offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making, governance best practice, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the effective operation of the Board and Committees, including meeting administration, preparation of papers, minute-taking, action tracking, and governance reporting.
- Maintain and enhance the organisation’s governance framework, ensuring compliance with relevant company law, regulatory requirements, and governance best practice.
- Manage statutory records, corporate filings, shareholder matters, annual meeting processes, and other company secretarial obligations.
- Provide governance support for regulatory initiatives, including SMCR administration, governance disclosures, policy reviews, and horizon scanning for regulatory developments.
- Deputise for the Company Secretary when required, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to governance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Experience working in a company secretarial or governance role within a regulated financial services environment.
- Experience supporting Boards and Committees and producing high-quality governance documentation.
- Knowledge of shareholder communications, statutory filings, and governance reporting.
- Excellent written communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
