We are partnering with a leading international manufacturing organisation to recruit a Company Secretarial Assistant to join its collaborative global governance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developing governance professional to gain exposure to Board and Committee support, international subsidiary governance and a broad range of corporate governance projects. Working alongside experienced Company Secretaries, you’ll help deliver best practice governance while contributing to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, board packs, meeting logistics and post-meeting actions.
- Manage a portfolio of international subsidiaries and maintain accurate entity records.
- Prepare corporate documentation, including minutes, resolutions and powers of attorney.
- Maintain statutory records, support Companies House filings and ensure ongoing governance compliance.
- Assist with governance frameworks, Board documentation and corporate governance policies.
- Contribute to governance projects, including M&A, restructures and annual reporting.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisers to support effective governance processes.
- Support governance reporting, record management and audit requests.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
- Part-qualified or recently qualified CGI (ICSA), or equivalent.
- Previous Company Secretarial or governance experience within a corporate environment.
- Exposure to Board and Committee support, statutory compliance and subsidiary governance.
- Experience using entity management systems.
- Strong organisational, communication, stakeholder management and drafting skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and support projects through to completion.
