Overview
We have been exclusively instructed to recruit a Governance and Committee Executive (12 month FTC) position within a worldwide professional association. Reporting to the Governance Manager, the role holder will aid with the successful delivery of the company’s governance objectives and provide ongoing support to the Governance Manager with board support, AGM planning, and also an interesting election process.
This is a varied role suited to an organised and proactive governance professional who is comfortable managing formal processes and engaging with senior stakeholders. You will play a key part in ensuring compliance with governing documents and regulatory requirements, while helping governance processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Governance Manager with all procedures relating to AGMs
- Supporting governance operations across Board and committee structures
- Coordinating formal decision-making processes and election procedures
- Maintaining statutory and corporate records
- Preparing and submitting filings to Companies House, ensuring ongoing compliance
- Supporting with the organisation of the company’s elections
Experience and Qualifications
- Knowledge of statutory filings and experience using Companies House online services
- Experience coordinating an AGM or similar large-scale formal meeting/event
- Demonstrable involvement in complex governance processes (elections, statutory compliance, formal approvals)
