Head of Governance – Wiltshire

This registered charity and company limited by guarantee is now seeking to recruit a Head of Governance on a full time, permanent basis. This is a brand new role, created as part of a restructure of the Governance team which will report directly to the CEO and have the responsibility for two direct reports.
You’ll take the reins and lead on governance, legal coordination and organisational risk management across the organisation in ensuring it meets all of its responsibilities under charity and company law. You’ll also provide key strategic governance advice to the CEO, Trustees and senior leaders.
You’ll need to demonstrate extensive experience in a senior governance role with supporting Boards, Trustees and/or senior leaders. Experience and working knowledge of company law and the charity law is essential. You’ll also need to demonstrate sound judgement, integrity and discretion, thinking strategically in helping the organisation reach its goals.
The role is based near Salisbury, Wiltshire and the organisation offer hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office, 2-3 from home. The organisation is also very family friendly.
